Came from Markham to try this bubble tea place cause I liked the concept of the lightbulb drink. However, when I arrived, they said there were no light bulbs left unless I wanted it for take out and they'd charge me $30 for the bottle. There were empty light bulbs in the front counter that were unwashed, so clearly they didn't run out. When I asked the cashier (Phoebe) about it, she was quite rude and said that there was bottles left but there were no more seats so they can't serve it. There was an empty bench so I don't know why this place promoted this lightbulb concept if the staff are being lazy. The same thing happened to my friend who came here a few days ago. I ended up purchasing the regular milk tea bubble tea served in a plastic cup to take home. It tasted alright, compared to ChaTime across the plaza, it is definitely more powdery. Overall, I came here specifically for the lightbulb bottle concept but is very disappointed with the staff and poor customer service.
