I went into this reservation and stay all wrong, since I assumed the DoubleTree had a higher standard than what exists at this location in Pittsburgh. They are doing major renovations because the hotel used to be a Radisson. Where to begin? The elevators are old and rickety, the bathrooms are tiny, and the fitness center is not open 24 hours. Rest assured, you are paying Hilton prices to stay at a Radisson-quality hotel. There is no free business center - Internet on the business center computer costs $0.29 per minute. It's been awhile since I stayed at a hotel that charged to print boarding passes. Also, the computer uses Microsoft Office 2000. I kid you not. There are no recycling bins anywhere and the lobby offers guests coffee in styrofoam cups (ugh). The only reason I didn't rate this with one star is because they offered Crabtree & Evelyn bath products. I'm not staying here again.
