Simple formula for the 5 star review here --- superb setting and a legendary huevos rancheros.
As someone said -- "This is simply the best outdoor place to eat in Vegas....the decor is relaxing, fresh, pool side, green, so soothing!!"
Indeed. So relaxing, fresh, clean, quiet --- a stark contrast to the rest of Vegas.
The coffee was perfect and I am a picky coffee person. Service was good and not in your face at all. But the best part was the main.
Huevos rancheros. A relatively straightforward dish. Made differently at a lot of places. But this sets the standard. The plate came out piping hot, the flavors mixed together so well, and the presentation was superb.
Let me put it this way --- I eat out a LOT and am blessed to try some amazing places. I rarely have something I remember vividly later. The duck at the Modern in NYC, the cashew chicken at Ryutenmon Tokyo, the sushi at Kaygetsu here in in Menlo Park --- and now the huevos rancheros at Verandah Vegas. Well done guys, thank you for a great meal.
