I am 5 months pregnant right now & for my first time getting a massage EVER at a spa, I would say this a good place to go. I brought my boyfriend along who does NOT like to be touched by other people ahah but we've both been tense from our jobs so I talked him into coming finally. I called prior for appointments for 2:30pm but walk in are available as well from what the signs say. The area is in around China town so I expected it to not be in the best area but when we arrived we were greeted & taken back right away which was great considering it was a Saturday! The place is dark/has pretty lighted trees everywhere & has a very calm atmosphere.
I got Michael and my boyfriend got Jessica, they were both nice but didn't speak much English. I felt awkward because I didn't know if I had to get completely undressed but they let me know once they were ready that we could just remove our top halves of clothing.
We both got full body massages which did not feel rushed at all, it was a full hour. The massage was a little rough around my shoulders but I have pretty bad tightness so after a couple minutes he actually helped remove the knots!
I asked my boyfriend and he was happy with the service as well so we will be coming back Especially for $20 which is the normal price, that's a great deal .. I'm glad I didn't regret not going to an actual Medi Spa for a prenatal massage since it was okay with my doctor but I'm sure when I am farther along I'll have to go somewhere else until after the pregnancy since I will not be able to lay on my stomach ..
