My pretty little Gabby. I brought Gabby home about a month ago....bought her from a friend that had just had a little of Chorkies and my daughter really wanted one. She immediately fit right in and was love by my other two dogs who welcomed her as their little sister. After about two weeks I posted a pic of her on FaceBook and the gal that I got her from let me know that her brothers and sisters from the litter she came from all had mites. This was foreign to me as I have never had an animal with issues. I tried treating it myslef with information that I found on Google not knowing much about it. It finally got to a point where I ultimately had to take Gabby to the vet. I have lived in Anthem for 5 years and have taken my other two to the other vet in Anthem but had heard good things about Daisy Mountain so I chose to take her there. When I dropped Gabby off I was just overcome with emotion one because I know that taking your animals to the vet can be very costly and two because I felt like a bad mommy for Gabby being the way she was. Gabby was perfectly happy and unless you held her and felt her skin you would never know there was anything wrong with her. So I was blubbering while filling out the paperwork and dropping her off. Jackie was very accomodating with the tissue and reassuring me that every thing would be ok. I called about three hours later to see how Gabby was and Dr. Young got on the phone and explained everything to me and boy was I relieved. To my surprise when I went to pick Gabby up the cost was much lower than I had expected it to be and boy was that a good thing. As I was checking Gabby out a gal from the business next door came over, not knowing who I was, and announced that she was here to see Gabby! That made me feel so good that the team here thought Gabby was special and was telling their friends to come see her! Thank you so much for making this such a pleasant experience and we will see you all in an month!
