Recently visited KRAVE at Rio with a group of 15 friends for a birthday. We are from pretty far out of town so our Saturday night had to be good.
A few of us have been to KRAVE in the past.... I went 3 times last year and had a great time. So naturally we figured we go back. WRONG
We arrived to find the place empty around 11:30 on a Saturday night.... unfortunately one of our friends quickly entered and paid the cover. Which was $30 .... yikes.
Anyway, at that point the 14 other people decided we might go somewhere else... because you know on a Saturday night with a big group you want to have fun. Nope!
After taking my friends money they flat out refused to give a refund.... 30 seconds after the fact. They wouldn't even make eye contact while we kept asking... just pretended we weren't there.
So our group split in half, some left. Lucky them..
We entered... at no point were we approached to do bottle service which would have been a better deal for everyone involved.
Thank god our Friday night was spent at another gay bar that's a few blocks away.... or the whole trip would have been ruined.
I spent 15$ there for my whole night VS 60$ at Krave.
Oh and did I mention the 28$ for a double rum and coke. Hell at least get an attractive bar tender to serve me this... not some grumpy old man.
