When I first moved into The District, loved it... but now, I can't even think of one thing I like about the complex. The staff isn't overly friendly and if you have a request or need maintenance done... good luck! I have been waiting for the complex to fix the lights in the hallway outside of my apartment for months now, and the gates at the entrance and exit of the complex have been broken almost the entire time I have lived here. There are cobb webs in the hallways and the grounds are very dirty. Residence do not clean up after their pets whatsoever and if you need to throw your trash away on the weekends, you might as well forget it because the trash compactor will always be full and other residence will have stacked trash all around the trash cans (not that it is their fault the trash is full). The pool was even closed on 4th of July weekend for maintenance! Really? If you are looking for an affordable, well managed place to move... do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. I hope I can just prevent someone else from making the same mistake I did.... DO NOT MOVE HERE!
