I've been coming here on and off for years. Generally, I pick earlier or later lunch and dinner times to avoid the crowd. The wait here can get ridiculous at times that I don't even want to bother. The place is rather small so it can get packed super fast. Call first before going there so you have an idea what you are up again.
I think this place is great for their lunch specials and the AYCE lunch and dinners. In terms of quality, I do think this place needs a bit of quality control. When it's good, it's amazing good and when it's not good, it's puke worthy bad. Talk about BIPOLAR SUSHI! Overall, it is good for the most part. Their lunch specials are great too- good amount of food at a decent price. I usually get their seafood bowl or deluxe combo for lunch when I'm not looking to stuff my face with AYCE.
The sushi chefs here are quite friendly but everyone else tends to look pissed off. I don't know if this place is too busy and they are too tired or someone just needs a hug, but generally, not very welcoming or friendly. Occasionally, I'd encounter a friendly one and that's always a pleasant surprise.
