I was very impressed during my first visit. Arctic Bites truly lives up to its reputation for Toronto's first Thai-inspired ice cream rolls. I got the Mr. Grey because I didn't think it was very common to find earl grey ice cream. Arctic Bites has a large variety of flavours. In addition, Arctic Bites was highly recommended by several of my friends, so I went here with high expectations, but they were all met. It was a great experience being able to watch the employees make the ice cream rolls. Also, Arctic Bites is very generous with its toppings. I really liked how Mr. Grey includes half of a waffle cookie. I wasn't expecting too much from this waffle component, but I thought that it complemented the ice cream very well, and it was very soft and easy to eat. Although I do believe that $7 is a lot for ice cream, Arctic Bites does a really good job, so it's worth paying the price. I'm not sure how much it has changed since my last visit, but I would definitely go back to Arctic Bites to try other flavours.
