I'm a current resident at cabrillo. I'm about to move out due to the fact that I lost my life partner due to complications as a result of diabetes. I live in a two bedroom apt and now as a single person i can no longer afford the cost. Both of us were on the lease yet cabrillo will show no compassion or humanity and expects me to be 100% liable for the remaining time under contract. is this the type of place that a future resident would want to live at. I think not. I have tried contacting nicki, the manager explaining to her that I was transferred by my company and that I lost my fiancee yet she does not care or more specifically cares more about what money they can get out of me . This is about being a human being and not a business. They do not care about there residents here!
in addition the hot tub has been out of service for like 5 months so do not believe them when they say it will be fixed soon. They are not telling the truth. also the pool is out of service half the time and the grounds are always a mess. the ceiling at every unit are thin and you can hear everything above and below you. it is awful if you are not on the same time schedule as your neighbor.
since this new company has bought cabrillo 7 months ago my experience here has been awful and I 100% regret moving to this facility. Do not move here you will most assuredly regret it.
they do not care for their residents once you have signed the contract . so do not sign here.
