My four year old Maltese had been on the Banfield Wellness program for over two years. On April 30 both my dogs went in for their annual check up. Three months late Nugget died of un-diagnosed diabetes. So much for a wellness program. On top of that I then get an email from Banfield corporate saying how sorry they are that Chewy (the WRONG dog) had passed. I tore them a new one and told them besides being responsible for Nuggets death, they had sent condolences on my dog that was alive. A couple of weeks later, someone from the clinic called and wanted to talk about Chewy dying - wrong dog again. Yesterday I got a condolence card signed by all the staff for - you guessed it - the passing of Chewy, my very much alive furbaby. They are totally incompetent here both in their treatment of our pets and in their attention to very big details like the name of which pet died. Run do not walk away from this place. There are better, more competent choices all around.
