The Homewood Suites Phoenix North - Happy Valley in Phoenix contains two words - home and happy and these are the defining words to describe this hotel. It was more like a home and the staff is happy to serve. I stayed in the suite which had nice kitchenette besides the usual amenities, which were top class besides being very spacious.
The tariff included free parking, free Internet access and free breakfast. The location is near perfect with downtown a few minutes away and the Sky Harbor International airport just 25 minutes away. The morning breakfast is one of the highlights as it consisted of a full hot and cold spread that included sausage, bacon, fruits, yoghurts, cereals, waffles, juices and hot and cold beverages. One of the attractions of this hotel is that it offers what is called as one-item dinners.
The day I had that dinner it was luckily my favorite dish, meatballs. Also, the hotel offers a salad bar on four days for two hours starting from 5 PM. These offers are included in the tariff.
