I was very impressed with my experience at Invision, from start to finish. This was my first experience with an auto body shop, so I wasn't really sure how the whole process worked, but everyone at Invision made me feel comfortable and confident about my choice - from the first person I spoke to on the phone to the one I met with to get my estimate. Very friendly, unassuming, low-pressure people.
One great thing about the shop is their level of communication. I brought my car in on a Monday, with a guess that it would be done on Friday. I got a call on Wednesday with a brief update, which I appreciated, and my car was done on Friday, as expected. I also got a thank you card about a week later. A little much? Maybe. But still nice.
The work they did looks great, and the inside of the car got a good cleaning, too. There was a rather strong smell (maybe from the paint?) that stuck around for a few days, but I'm sure there wasn't really anything that could be done about it.
I will say this - I'm not sure about their prices compared to other auto body shops. I was involved in an accident that wasn't my fault so the other party's insurance was responsible for the repairs, so we chose a shop based on location and personal recommendations, rather than price. But, like I said, this is the only experience I've had with auto body repairs, and we didn't shop around, so for all I know, they might be the cheapest in town.
Overall, my experience with the shop was excellent and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone.
