A great local spot since the 7os on the corner Bethany home & 16th TEXAZ is local home cooked comfort food Texas style ! Great Texas Decor reminds me if you were in an old Austin bar. You'd expect to see Willie Nelson hear but if there you'd probably hear him. To begin we had biscuits & honey . Next came large cole slaw and nice dinner salad both very good . We shared the mulligan 16 oz smoked prime rib with large portion of mashed potatoes with the skins & homemade gravy. Also shared a huge chicken fried steak smothered in gravy. Lastly had a brisket sandwich with long strips of the bbq pecan smoked brisket on French roll w real Texas potato home fries. Great service from Josephine , food came amazing fast . I m sure will be back I'd like to try the cod fish & chips. Available on an early bird menu 4-6 with other options . They have a good looking Fourth of July menu too. Great food & Tex az western decor ! We'll be back partner !
