Possibly the most overrated restaurant in Charlotte. This review is simple- I've had much better Sushi for much less $$$.
Maybe my expectations were too high. The first time I went to Cowfish we waited an hour and half to be seated, and an additional half hour to get our meals. That didn't bother me, it just made me think "wow, this place has got to be awesome if people are willing to wait this long". I was wrong. People are stupid. This place is trendy so people THINK it's good.
If you want a trendy spot with better Sushi, try Nikko. Again, I've had better Sushi for less money, just not in Charlotte. Their cowboy roll is better than any of the "Burgushi" selections I've tried at CF.
FYI - the two star rating reflects price, food, atmosphore, etc... not just the food. If this place was 20-30% cheaper, I'd give it 3 or 4 stars.
