YELP 365 CHALLENGE 2014-(224/365) "It's An MGM Takeover!"
Came out for some fun in the sun for the first time here. For $20 MGM employees had the water park all to ourselves which was awesome because there wasn't any long waits for any of the rides, we got great spots by the wave pool(more like ripple pool)
and we also had lunch with AYCD soft drinks. I like that they also had sunscreen stations set up too!
Although the park was only open to MGM employees on this day, lines and wait times were still not a problem as lines moved quick and smoothly that we got to ride each ride multiple times, chillax in the lazy river for a few rounds, cool off in the kiddie section with that big tilting bucket dumping gallons of water on us every time the heat got to us. Line yourself up with the ANGLE OF THE ROOF to get MAXIMUM SOAKAGE!!!
Of all the rides, my favorites have to be the Super Slide and the other one(forgot the name) connected to it. You catch a little air time for a split second, then that great rush down the slide, and before you know it, you're done! Boy was it a blast, and after about 5 hours, we called it a day. Great time for all, and I guess this will do until I get reunited with the ocean once again. ALOHA!!!
