My post is somehow getting filtered. There are a lot of bad review about this business. Please use caution before going to them. I wanted to give a zero star. But there is no such option in yelp. I definitely won't recommend this shop. I always feel like I was cheated. Every morning I see my car, I get a faint rememberance of how i was lured into getting my transmission fixed at this place. I just went there to figure why there was an oil leak from my transmission. I regret my decision. I should have just asked Ben to stop fixing my car. I am not commenting about their quality of work but the amount they charge. They just over charge. Before opening my transmission i did not get any guestimate of how much it would cost. On talking to Ben I was assuming it wouldn't cost more than 900 dollars. But once my transmission is opened by them I received a quote for $2300 for rebuilding the transmission. It finally settled at $1800 for replacing the entire transmission with a reconditioned transmission(as per ben this is supposed to be completely different from my transmission). Once the work has been completed I noticed in the bill where it was mentioned as reconditioned transmission with new torque converter. This is why I feel cheated. They had 2 options, one is to rebuild the transmission and charge me 2300 bucks or replace with a new transmission for $1200 new transmission + $550 labor and save me some money. They did not suggest me the correct option. Instead they just reconditioned my old transmission and added a new torque converted and charged $1800 which should be $400 for new torque converter and $700 for labor. So.. I would just not recommend this shop. They just try to rip youo off. This is just my experience. I feel they are unethical. I saw few other bad reviews here for this shop, but I am not sure why they are removed.
