Come for the margs, stay for the apps!Chain restaurants don't usually speak to me, but there's a special place in my heart for Mad Mex.
My favorite time to visit Mad Mex is for Happy Hour and their deliciously flavored margaritas. These usually change monthly and during the summer they had a Peach flavor which was amazing.
I've had some hit and miss experiences with dinners here so I usually stick with a variety of apps to share amongst the table. For example the last time I ordered a meal, a quesadilla, there was literally no cheese on it. It's a quesadilla! However, their apps make up for this large oversight, especially their guac which has just the right amount of kick to it.
