I have NO expensive or antique furniture, quite the contrary. I asked the 2 movers when they showed up to get a 3rd guy and again 3 hours later when it was apparent they were not going to make the 4 hour time quoted, and both times they indicated there was no one else available. The small scrape you describe was actually the entire front lip/edge of a 60-yr old parquet wood stair step that was broken completely off. You have a picture of it, how can you call that a scrape? The flooring guy had to custom make the bullnose from a piece of oak and then stain and seal multiple times to match the finish. Though I paid $350 for the repair, I'm willing to accept $200. And I'm happy with the $250 my credit card company reimbursed me for your blatant bait and switch tactics. There is no way you can justify billing me $1155 for a move that you quoted at $595. And your attempts now to fabricate reasons to blame me are obvious and pathetic. Anyone considering this company for a move should run as fast as possible in the opposite direction.
