I gave one star, but if it was unfair of me, I will change it. I stopped to get my smog check done. I had forgotten my coupon at home, so I asked the person how much it would be without the coupon. He told me $23.99. I knew the coupon was for $16.99, so I said I'd just come another time when I have the coupon. When I got home and looked at the coupon, it said the regular price was $21.99 but $16.99 with the coupon. It came across like the guy was trying to get $2.00 extra for himself. I tried finding a website for Desert Smog, so I could look up the actual price. The coupon stated that DMV fees can increase at any time, so I wanted to see if that had happened. I couldn't find any website for this company or any email address for a manager or owner to check the correct price. I'm going to post this here and let the DMV know. I've gone here for over a decade to get my smog checks but never had anything like this occur. But then I always had my coupon with me.
