This place was absolutely horrendous. I walked in, sat down at an open spot at their bar, and had to wait over ten minutes JUST to ask if I wanted a water, while their wait staff walked DIRECTLY past me four times. On top of that, after cleaning the area around me up, they let a dirty napkin and trash for a straw, apparently assuming they were mine when I didn't even have a straw in my glass. The service overall was horrendous except for the young gentleman who eventually made his wait staff realize how long I was waiting for.
Now, onto the menu. I understand basic operations as a spinnery versus a traditional diner cause you to lose some quality in food, but this is ridiculous. Ordering any of their sushi with a softer core, I.E. spicy tuna, the center is absolute mush. Anything with spice is way too strong and outweighs the remaining flavors that are supposed to be intended for sushi. Some dishes even appear as if they've been sitting and rotating for over an hour, at room temperature. Not proper temperature to serve fish at for an elongated time, as well as no timestamp on their dishes showing as to when they were initially served/placed on the spinner.
I used to love coming to this place. I may come back again, but only if the service drastically improves. Unless I get sick from fish sitting at room temp all day, then that's another story.
