Taco Guild is THE place for the Taco-aficionado! I happened upon this place because it was close to my hotel in Midtown Phoenix- I had NO idea how awesome it really was! First off, it's in an old church so the building is beyond cool with stained glass windows, cathedral ceilings, big wooden doors, chandeliers, etc. I came straight from the gym so I ordered my meal to-go from the bar, but I'm very sad I didn't stay to dine! They have a full bar and a variety of table-side guacs and I feel like I missed out (guess I'll have to return!!) They also have patio dining- I never met a patio I didn't like....
I ordered my To-Go meal from the bartender who was pleasant and gave me the low down and recommendations. I got the taco platter- with 3 tacos (you can pick any 3) and 1 side. I chose Ono (fish), shrimp, and chicken with a side of their street corn off the Cobb. Food arrived promptly and they even threw in a chips & salsa order without me asking. A+ Service!
Everything was YUM! The corn tortillas were handmade and every taco had amazing, individualized flavor! And that Street corn..no words!! I can't wait to go back!
