I like the concept of this store and they certainly have a great variety of gift-type of items. I've also shopped at this store on numerous occasions and would have normally rated it a 5 star had I not experienced the store today. In short, I went in looking for some Christmas gifts. In previous years I have purchased most of my Christmas gifts in this store. Today, however, I walked in and not one of the sales people said "hello." Normally I wouldn't care, but other patrons walked in after me and not only did they get a "hello" but they were also offered a free sample of coffee. I was never offered coffee... As I walked around and gently picked up items, trying to decide what to buy for whom, two of the sales people stood at the front discussing how to make beet dip. At this point there were no other customers in the store and I still had yet to be acknowledged (or offered coffee!). The last straw for me was when a third sales person walked right up to me and simply stopped. She did not say a word. She just stood there, staring at me. I moved out of her way, and she walked to the other side of me - this time blocking me from continuing to look at the items in the area of the store where I had been standing. Did she not want me picking up the items? Did she think I was going to steal them? It was all so odd and uncomfortable, so I just left. I'll take my business elsewhere. I am not spending hundreds of dollars in a place where that is how I am treated.
