The most interesting supermarket on the planet. I'll start with this: I said to a cashier, "When I'm in here, I feel like everyone is extremely liberal, smokes weed, and vacations in Asheville." I will not reveal the reply or identity of the cashier, but I will say it was a decent read. When in Earthfare the other day, I had The Mop Man chase me down while I was picking fruit. He was going for the foot sweep and I needed to move pronto. While making my move, I got clumsy. Apples hit the floor, strawberries were squished ... it was a big mess. J/k. The Mop Man didn't get me, but he is aggressive, so watch out if there early. Right around the corner you will find Sanctuary. There is always calming vapor and a friendly employee wearing a light hand-knit sweater (at least it looks hand-knit). One day, I expect to find her and several employees and customers sitting in a circle and holding hands while singing Somewhere Over the Rainbow. And I mean that in a good way. As far as service and food, excellent. I only buy fruit, veggies, chicken wings, and Tate's cookies here, but all excellent.
