I was pleasantly surprised when I tried Coup des Tartes. When you think of French food it conjures up images of pretentious food and snooty servers. It couldn't be farter from the truth at the Coup. The dishes were authentically French, but approachable and somewhat familiar. The staff was super friendly and anything but snooty. We enjoyed a three onion tart and sautéed shrimp as a starter. The tart was savory with a sweet buttery crust. The shrimp skewers we hot tasty and melted in your mouth. We ordered the beef bourguignon and the stuffed pork chop for our mains. The beef was made with filet mignon cuts that were tender. The sauce was balanced but hearty. The stuffed pork chop was lolipopped and stuffed with spinach and other goodies. The seasoning on all the dishes was spot on. We really enjoyed the people and the food. It's a great value and a good spot for any occasion.
