Going to Ulta to shop and/or the Brow Bar used to be my favorite thing. Then, it started to become noticeable how catty, gossipy and overall disrespectful employees are to not only each other but to and about customers. I had some 'acquaintances' from being a regular and can tell you, I heard so much negativity between employees about other employees, managers, customers, etc.. I honestly feel bad for anyone that works in that sort of toxic environment- it is NOT healthy! And don't you dare complain about a service or product and may 'the higher powers that be' protect you when you ask for a refund; you will receive laser beam looks that would turn Hades to ash! It is never worth your time to let any service be 'corrected', between the judging looks and comments and the fact that the outcome will mostly like be worse than you started with - you'll leave feeling like somehow it was your fault. [Speaking from 3 specific experiences] Good luck ever trying to come back to the store after an EMPLOYEE mishap/mistake - they will ghost you and make it known store wide who you are, what you complained about and actually share any written complaints in their back room - posted for all to see.
