Cox is the reason so many people pirate and stream TV a la carte from various sources. Their service gets worse and worse and their service people seem to be getting dumber and dumber despite a job market flooded with unemployed college grads which means I can only assume it is a training issue and not actually a problem finding competent help. I would advise anyone to add up the costs of cox vs what you actually watch and do a cost per show calculation. You will likely find that streaming or buying just the shows you watch is less expensive, have no commercials and provides significantly less hassle than Cox delivers. There are many free software GUI's that make your streaming service look just like the GUI COX offers. Finally a use for your old laptop!
