I cannot express how disappointed I am with CEENTA. I have gone several times to see an ophthalmologist at the Ballantyne office and retinal specialist at the South Park office. Staff and doctors are cold and uncaring. I have requested a referral to another retinal specialist. When I asked the retinal specialist about an alternative treatment I read anout was available his response was well that is something i reserve for people with medicare or without insurance, i assumed because you have insurance you want the best treatment in an extremely derogatory manner. Lastly, they coded a bill incorrectly so my insurance didn't cover the services (rather the charges went to my deductible when they didn't have to) a simple fix that I have been trying to get corrected for 3 weeks. You call the billing line and they have to go to the coders and no one ever gets back to you. When I called for the 5th time today for status and asked what the turnaround time might be to hear something and if there was someone I could follow up with directly the response was - we have 5 people here for 23 offices. When I asked again who I might be able to follow up with if I didn't hear back this week her response was, you can call this number and there are notes in the file. if you don't mind dealing with a machine and being a number on the meat wagon, you might be OK with this place. But if you want efficient, caring and responsive care, this is not the place for you.
