I ordered take-out and was told to pick it up in 30 minutes. I arrived 35 minutes later and was told it would be ready in just a minute. It was busy and crowded inside, leaving me no other option but to stand awkwardly behind people who were eating at the bar. I asked about every 10 minutes about my order, and was told each time they were boxing it up. The kind folks eating at the bar, seeing how long I'd been waiting, began inquiring for me as well. After standing there for 40 minutes (now 1 hr, 15 min after ordering) I began to walk out and a staff person shouted that my food was ready. As I reached out to pay, a stranger eating at the bar said to the staff person, "How much are you taking off for her wait?" The response was, "I can't do that, I'm not the manager." So no apology or discount for the wait, and the food was cold. How long had it been ready while I stood there? Needless to say, I won't be back.
