My check-in was easy and the lovely lady at the front desk was super welcoming and warm. If I owned a hotel I would definitely want her at my front desk. I love the bar in the lobby, the decor in the lobby, drinks and Blelvis. Not a huge fan of all the in-room decor. They seem to be trying a bit too hard in my opinion. However, the beds are super nice and the amenities are great and clean and new. As I type this I'm sitting in the "quiet room" at the "spa" downstairs. I have a request/suggestion: Please get new music. Someone must have charged the W lot of money for the "avant garde" spa music. Please, get some peaceful music, or don't play any music. They have been playing music with so much discord and disharmonious chimes and zings for the last 30 minutes I have been prone to rage. I swear I'm not even an old person and I think the music is too loud for this setting. Consult some of the other quiet rooms in Vegas spas for ideas. TBH: There was one song that hasn't been all bad which is mostly vibraphone but the rest have been terrible. Also, the red and green "ambient" lights are not creating the most peaceful experience. The people working here have all been great though. I just don't understand what Starwood was thinking with this music and some of the design.
