I wish this place was closer to me... Or maybe it's better that it isn't, lest I gain 50 lbs!
On a weekend, don't be surprised to arrive at Knead to find a queue of people lined up out the door.
The tarts are to die for. I've tried the lemon and butter (which they offer with raisins, nuts or with nothing added, the way I like them) one and both were amazing, with firm, flaky crusts and deep, smooth, luscious filling. Love the sturdy scalloped tart papers (cardboard really) they come in too.
I've also sampled the salted caramel brownie (killer! Rich but delicious) and red fife bread (which wasn't my cup of tea flavour and density-wise but was super fresh and smelled amazing). I'll definitely have to go back to try some of their other breads.
