I went here only because of the Yelp reviews-- hadn't even heard of it. My boyfriend had my car yesterday and called to tell me it sounded like a Harley Davidson. Great... VROOM VROOM was right. I knew right away it was something with the exhaust system but I had no idea what.
I took it here to Speedy this morning. Needless to say, I didn't need to tell them why I was there. The problem announced itself as I vroomed in. I went to "check in" on facebook and wrote the sentence "Let's see if they're as speedy as they say"and before I finished the sentence, they had me come out to show me the broken exhaust line. Holy speedy!!! They told me most places would try to sell me a whole new exhaust system but all I needed was a new exhaust line. Wait for an estimate...
They came back 3 minutes later. They could replace the part today for $300 because their supply shop had closed or I could come back on Monday and pay $240 because their parts store they contract with would be open then. They gave me a choice to save even more money. I opted for a Monday return. They told me it will take 20-30 minutes.
They're speedy, respectful of women, didn't try to get me to replace things that didn't need to be replaced, and gave me the option to save a little more money by coming back later. I could not possibly be more impressed.
As other have said, this is a no frills shop. No WiFi. No air conditioning. No TV's or snacks. Just a few chairs with the doors open and a breeze but I don't mind. A nice, honest fix of my car is all i wanted. Very impressed. Will recommend to friends and family.
