I have been coming to BLD for a while. Their breakfast is what is the biggest draw for me. I really feel that they are competitive for one of the best eggs benidicts in the valley. the classic ham eggs and hollandaise. They do offer other versions, however I am a purist in this sense and they nail it. Another big draw for me is the barista. Their lattes and Iced dirty chai drinks are my favorite. I feel like they are at a high level of quality. They make a great spicy bloody mary as well. BLD has a good happy hour with several apps and drinks on special. I used to think they were trying to go to big with lunch and dinner in the past and it was a bit of a turnoff for me, but I have recently tried them again for lunch and I was impressed. It looked like their menu had been simplified a bit and I really enjoyed it. Pro Tip - if you go for breakfast on the weekend go early! there are a few big churches nearby and it can quickly fill up. Also if you are in a hurry in the AM they have a drive through for the barista. I even think they accept call in orders to be picked up at the window.
