I loved my dentist in Charlotte NC and went every 6 months like clock work. My husband got decent dental care here for an infected tooth that needed antibiotics and had to be pulled. The dentist would not work on him until his blood pressure went down. I was impressed so thought that I would go here. I went in first check up. Xray technician took a lot of Xrays, then came back and said she needed more. She started redoing them and got to about number 4 and I got upset because it seemed like too many Xrays. I refused more. Female dentist came in and used what she had taken. Dentist wanted to do an intense cleaning. Numb my mouth to do extra cleaning. Then she said that I had a cavity between tooth 18 and 19. I made appointments to go back for all the work but was really upset. My dentist in Charlotte had not recommended any intense cleanings and the xray process just seemed wrong. I decided to find a second opinion. Second dentist just wanted to do a normal cleaning (not intense with numbing) and did not find any cavities. I am so upset and think that this place is unsafe. I will be reporting them to my insurance company with a full explanation. Just grateful that they did do something safe with my husband by not treating him when his blood pressure was high.
