I was really excited to try NOLA as I love New Orleans cuisine. The new lunch menu looked fantastic. Our table was a group of 6 coworkers. Our server was new and had a huge section of tables, so while he was very nice, it was pretty slow service. One coworker didn't get to eat since he had to get back for a meeting. We started with fried green tomatoes & gator appetizers. The server said it would be enough food; it wasn't. Four fried green tomatoes & a small plate of gator came out. While the apps were delicious; the portions were very small. We ordered a second gator appetizer. The flavors were there but the portions weren't. I had the soup & half sandwich with voodoo fries combo. I opted for the crawfish bisque and catfish Po boy. The soup was very good. The Po boy was very greasy. While I understand it was fried; it shouldn't be dripping with grease. No one raved about their food. I'm not sure I'd go back.
