Let me start by saying that this is review is for the restaurant....not the clubby weirdness that this place turns into late night on the weekends.
With that said, this is by far our favorite restaurant in Charlotte. American style small plates and literally everything on the menu is delicious. Cherry. Glazed. Lamb. Lollipops. Write that down. Also the sweet potato gnocchi is always a huge hit when we bring people there and we end up getting 2-3 orders of it. This place is quaint enough for a date night with just your significant other, but even better when you go with groups that are larger. You can try more things that way.
There is also a bartender here, I forget his name. I've only seen him at the downstairs bar, and he's Irish, but he makes the best Old Fashioned in Charlotte. Well, besides me!
