Bite groceteria is a cute little gourmet grocery store in Inglewood. It's quite impressive when you walk in and the first thing you see is a gigantic crystal chandelier. They've got an espresso bar on-site, along with a mini meat & cheese deli, as well as shelves stocked full of a variety of imported items.
Lentils, spices and biscuits galore.
What's the problem you ask? The prices! Everything in this store is insanely priced. You can buy a jar of lentils for $9 here, or you can head to the N.E. and pick up the same amount of lentils for less than $2. What would you do?
Definitely a cute store, but it's more the 'look but don't touch' kind.
