It can't be that long since I've last been to the Empire Theatre in Shaunessy, but apparently they did some big renovations since. This place sure needed it. It was worn down, and tacky looking. Now its a lot of neutral colours with pops of red. Definately clean looking but boring.
I was thrilled to sit in the new more cushioned seats, which rock back and forth. But when you're leaning back, wen slightly, if someone in the row behind you has stood up to go to the bathroom, they knock your seat. A plus though is that there is a bit more space from your knee to the seat in front. No more awkward squishing. . . At least for us shorted legged people. :)
