My husband was referred for a routine colonoscopy. Dr. Sand was abrupt and his staff acted like they just got out of highschool. Afterwards, our insurance company notified us Dr. Sands has billed our insurance for a "Comprehensive Annual Physical". Dr. Sands did nothing of the sort. he took my husband's blood pressure, asked some questions and charged for a physical.
Dr. Sands is committing insurance fraud. His office was contacted and said they would correct the billing, but they have done nothing to fix the problem.
No follow-up, no bedside manner, incorrect billing, and bad billing with no accountability. I have spent hours trying to straighten out the billing to no avail and no assistance from Sand's office.
Stay away. He isn't worth the hassle.
