Just finished my first prenatal yoga class at Moksha St. Clair. Walking in the studio looks a bit shabby with a torn carpet on the stairs and a few questionable light fixtures, but upon entering the space on the 2nd floor it is clear that this is a studio filled with warmth. The staff were very friendly and helpful and there were lots of people coming and going. The change rooms have a few showers in them and are overall very clean. The prenatal class was in the smaller room that faces St. Clair West. You can hear a lot of noise from the streetcar, but overall it has a very welcoming atmosphere. Tasha, the instructor, was the best prenatal yoga instructor I've had yet. She was very kind and gentle. Her directions were clear and she made everyone feel comfortable to work at their own pace, while still pushing us to stretch and strengthen to the best of our abilities. All in all, the prenatal class was awesome and I will definitely be back!
