This dealership is everything you hate about the car buying process. The salespeople are pushy, aggressive and rude. My husband and I went there because they seemed to have a larger selection than some of the other local Kia dealers. The first thing they do when you walk in is ask for all your contact information. That's so that after you leave, they can call, email and text you incessantly. We worked with Jim S. and could not be more irritated at how we were treated. The test drive was fine, minus the fact that he reeked of cigarettes and made the car stink. We narrowed it down to the one we wanted and had the price that was listed on their website. But of course, once they've lured you in, they tell you that you can only get that price if you qualify for all sorts of rebates, which we did not (shocker). They were basically unwilling to negotiate on the price and we told him that was not where we wanted to be on cost. His response was "then this is not the car for you". He brought his manager over who was even ruder and basically told us to take a hike. So we went to leave, but every time we tried to get up to leave, he'd beg us to stay and try to tell us he would see what he could do on the price. Yet, the offer never changed. Then, he must've asked us 20 times what he could do to earn our business that day. We were not purchasing that day as we were still early in the process and were waiting to receive some money, and were not going to change our mind, but he kept pushing, telling us we didn't need to put any money down and we could still take the car. I can't imagine what type of contract he would rope us into for that one. We told him we were not done looking, to which he gave us the whole "you'll never find a better deal than what I've offered you" speech. Well guess what? We drove straight to Peoria Kia and within ten minutes had an offer that blew his out of the water and our sales guy wasn't a jerk. We ended up purchasing from Peoria Kia, about a week later, when WE were ready. So, it was the perfect car for us, it was this dealership that wasn't for us. Don't waste your time here, unless you like being pushed into deals and hounded constantly.
