I live in the neighborhood and wanted to love this place but it just misses the mark on everything.
Ambiance 1/5 - They've been gifted with a large space with exposed brick. I feel like they could do soooooo much more to make it feel cozy and cool. Instead there's a lot of empty space and generic chairs and tables.
Coffee 1/5 - DON'T ASK FOR CREAM! Whatever you do don't ask for milk or cream unless you want a lecture on why you don't need cream with their coffee. Mind you the coffee is very strong.
Staff 2/5 - Clearly these baristas love coffee and are passionate about what they do. I would've appreciated a smile or nod of acceptance when I said hello, thank you, etc.. Bad customer service.
If pretentious so called "coffee snobs" are your thing, this might be your place. If you just love coffee and a warm, inviting atmosphere, skip this place.
