Came here early to this unassuming place and managed to snag one of the last tables in this small restaurant. It seems like an authentic mom and pop sort of place and I really appreciated the expansive menu they had. There were three small cold dishes to share in the beginning (kimchi, a sweet potato, and sliced radish) that were tasty and seemed homemade. Because the restaurant was pretty full, it took awhile for our food to come out (though we did get a Beef Jungol, which is a soup meant for two). The soup was authentic and the broth was tasty, with beef, napa cabbage, large noodles and chunks of octopus, which I really appreciated. We ate to our heart's content and still had a bit of leftover food for lunch the next day. Looking around, the bibimbop looked delicious and we'll definitely come back sometime to try it! Definitely recommend this place if you're looking for some authentic Korean food. I just wished that they had KBBQ too! Edit: Also tried the chapjae and a seafood tofu soup. Both were extremely tasty and filling. The soup had great flavor and the little chunks of seafood were nice. The chapjae was perfectly chewy and well worth the highly steep price. Loved it! Edit 2: definitely prefer the seafood tofu soup over the clear beef one.
