Dr. Blakesely and the staff here went above and beyond to help us today. People they don't even know.
Today, we found a little white dog running down the middle of the street in our community (not far from a very busy intersection and road). My husband and I are major animal lovers and would be devastated if one our dogs was gone so we immediately scooped the little guy up and went to work knocking on doors and talking to people/neighbors.
After 2 hrs. with no luck or real leads, we took her to Southern Hills Animal Hospital hoping they could tell us if the dog had a microchip. Luckily, the dog did have a chip so they tracked down the info. and contacted the people listed. They also offered to keep the little guy there until someone could come get him.
We are very impressed with the way things were handled today and with the people at Southern Hills Animal Hospital. A lot of places claim to love animals and will say they will help but don't. These kind people are the real deal. They didn't have to help us today, but did. If you're looking for a new Vet, I think this would be a great place to start.
