First visit to his new location and it was shockingly disappointing. I have been to his restaurant downtown and I know the quality of food to expect from him. One of the first things I noticed about the place was the atmosphere. Its like dining at grandma's with too many relatives in a small, cramped space. I definitely did not feel like I wanted to hang out there over a glass of wine or dessert for very long. Then the food was the final nail in the coffin. I noticed the prices went way up on the menu for pizza. I couldn't believe we were about to pay $18 for a small pizza and another $16 for a pasta dish. When the pasta arrived it was unbelievably small, under portioned, and tasted like a watered down version of a pasta dish I can get across the street for the same cost but triple the quantity. So we quickly grabbed our check at dined out at another restaurant to make up for the craptastic food from Italian Restaurant. Never again, not even if it was free.
