Call it nostalgia or whatever you will but I have always loved Boulder's. It is the perfect college bar for students who care about how their beer tastes. Boulders really cares about their beer, and it shows. Not only are they constantly changing what's on tap (though not as unique these days, they've been doing it longer than most), but they keep track of their updated list through their own smartphone app. Its a simple app, but I thought it was a nice, extra step toward creating a positive experience. Boulders has both good bar food and a very reasonable happy hour. If I still lived nearby this would be my ideal place to drop in for happy hour, try a few new beers, and get something to munch on. Though its been awhile since I've ordered a real meal here, I remember them being very good, especially the pizza/calzones. This bar also doubles as a restaurant. The bar is separate enough from the restaurant seating area that I think you could reasonably take a family here without cause for concern. They also have a decent patio if you prefer to sit outside. I highly recommend Boulder's to anyone who enjoys reasonably priced and constantly rotating craft beers.
