When I called to make appointment for my son with Autism. I asked would you be able to see him since he has Autism the lady said yes I set up appointment for a couple of weeks later.
They called him back I went with him they wanted a full xray of his mouth. My son did get upset just with small little tears. Then we were asked to go sit back in the waiting room. Then we were asked to come back into the hallway there was the dentist. She said we are not going to be able to see him today. He would need to go see a peds dentist. She went on to say that he would need to be sedated for this cleaning because she didn't want it to be a unpleasant appointment for him. I then told her that he goes to the dentist every 6 months so he know what goes on and they had never needed to sedated him for a cleaning at his old dentist office. Then she said well we have other patients and we don't want to make there appointment unpleasant. My son did nothing wrong to turn him away. I'm sure they had a handful of typical kids who possible screamed and kicked while getting dental work. What makes me so upset. He never made it to the dental chair and tried to do his cleaning. Then a least I would of seen them make a effort and then say hey I think he would do best at another dentist office.
I have never been to a insensitive dentist office. If they treat my child like this beware if your child does something they don't like he might get the boot.
Sorry Dental Elegance at the Island in Gilbert for bringing one of god special gifts into your office. You have never should of excepted his appointment to begin with if you were just going to turn us away.
You can go ahead and write your response Dental Elegance at the Island. But everyone should know I'm not the only person to write a bad review on you. Do your research you will find more unhappy customers who have been to this place.
