I stumbled upon this place a few weeks ago just after it opened while I was waiting for my car to be washed across the street (at Stuart's Detailing). I had planned to go to Tacos del Mar because I was hungry and noticed this new place with a really cool interior. It definitely has a "Vig" vibe to it as one other person suggested.
The menu was small, three burgers, but I was told that was just temporary until they got everything up and running. I ordered the Peppercorn burger and the Moscow Mule cocktail (made with Ginger Beer). Both were awesome! I went back the next week - and I'm ashamed to admit that I loved that burger so much that I had it again. I also tried the duck fat fries, but as most everyone else commented, these left much to be desired. I'd stay away from them for a while.
I went back for a third time this week (again while waiting for a car wash). The menu has been increased substantially with many new appetizers and entrees. If you were there when the 3 burgers were the only menu item, it's time to return. I had the chicken wings, which were terrific, but the sauce could have been a bit better. My girlfriend met up with me and ordered the bread pudding as a desert and said it was fantastic (I don't like bread pudding). I ordered a root beer float before leaving. The root beer is on tap, and it is awesome.
All in all, I'll keep going back. The food is good and the vibe is great. It will be a terrific spot to watch a game - the only problem is the VERY limited seating. So if you want to watch a game here, get there early.
