I've been coming to this Heinen's for years, every time that I am in Bay. The produce, seafood, and meat are all very fresh and high quality. The prepared foods will make a great meal in a pinch. Also - they've got a diverse wine selection as well as some craft beers. The service is quick and efficient, I've never had a bad experience
I completely disagree with Lou K's review - I've never felt that the staff is pretentious, or that the cost is excessive. Sure, the groceries will be a bit more expensive than at a discount grocery store like Marc's or something, but its nowhere near the level of Whole Foods, for example. And the cost here is definitely proportional to the higher quality. Further, you can find plenty of "unhealthy" brands here, but if that is all you're shopping for it would definitely make more sense to go to a place like Giant Eagle or Marcs.
