I'm not the person to ask about gambling. I can only comment on the hotel itself and the rooms.
We had an easy check-in and check-out as I booked and paid for the room through hotels.com. Booking with that site we got an amazing price, but a view of nothing. We didn't care about that because really who's looking out the window much anyway?
You can't beat TI's location. It's in the middle of the strip, central to everything. The bed was the best thing about the room. I think it had a tempur pedic top. So comfy!
The coffee shop, which is open 24 hours (obviously) is good and reasonably priced. I suggest the hot chocolate, chocolate cake, or the chocolate peanut butter whatever it was. We took the sweets back to the room and continued to eat them half asleep throughout the night.
Personally I had a wonderful experience, but it could have been the company as much as the place.
